We had a great time at StoryBook Land today…. despite Jon’s early skepticism on the place – when we arrived it was just right for the kids. All the kids did great on the rides. The temps were approaching 90 again today and luckily there is a waterpark area which no doubt Mason’s favorite – he just loves anything to do with water. Check out some pictures and the video!

Mason, Jim, Jon and Kim went to the Turtle Back Zoo today for Father’s Day. Mason went on his first train ride and loved it. When we walked back over to the train at the end of the day he was pointing and crying until the line started to move for boarding – then he was all smiles again.

Mason went on his first boat ride today. He handled the ride aboard the luxury vessel quite well. There were lots of baby geese to look at and he was slightly perplexed as to why he couldn’t actually go in the water. He kept leaning over the side to reach for the water. A successful day as he was smiling as usual and wasn’t bothered by the motor, the motion, or the life vest 🙂

Mike decided it was time to refresh the floors, fixtures, paint, toilet, molding, and vanity is his bathroom. Linda, Jon, Kim, and Mason went to Mike’s house for the weekend to lend a hand. Mike had all of the demolition work done by the time we got there and we don’t have any “before” pictures. We did a similar project in 2007 on his other bathroom. See it here: 2007 Bathroom project.
